Turandot SEK 300 including mingling
We see Sweden's star soprano Nina Stemme in a popular rerun of Turandot. Recorded at Metropolitan and shown at Folkets Hus and Parker's cinemas from 10 October.

Nina Stemme plays the demanding role of Puccini's icy princess. Anita Hartig makes her first Met role as the slave girl Liù. Marco Berti is Calàf, the suitor who risks his head to get Turandot's hand, and Alexander Tsymbalyuk is Timur. Paolo Carignani directs the visually spectacular set, originally created by film and opera director Franco Zeffirelli in 1987.

Turandot was recorded at Met 2016.

REVIEWS:
“Timur, sung by Alexander Tsymbalyk, together with Nina Stemme, makes tonight's best effort! It is now the second time in less than six months that I experience Nina Stemme in one of her parade roles, but yesterday's experience beats the Royal Opera with horse lengths.
The explanation probably lies in the fantastic set's scenographic solution, but also that Zeffirelli has been clear in letting the plot take place in the time and environment set by the composer.
As usual, Metropolitan's orchestra makes and performs an excellent performance this time under the direction of conductor Paolo Carignani, and this, together with the magnificent scenography, makes the performance a worthwhile experience. ”
