Lögdeälvsleden is a very beautiful hiking trail along the Lögde River that stretches through the municipalities of Bjurholm and Nordmaling up to Fredrika.

Sometimes this entire stretch of 113 km that winds along the river all the way up to Fredrika in Åsele municipality is called the Tempelleden.

The river is known for its ravine landscapes, meandering arches and various forms of terraces. Along the trail, there are overnight cabins, windbreaks, suspension bridges, terrain stairs, paved sections and prepared rest areas. These are placed in strategic places along the entire trail so that both longer and shorter trips can be made.

The trail is marked with a red marking on trees and with distance signs at rest areas and overnight cabins. Most cottages are equipped with a stove and sleeping space for four people. The cabins do not need to be pre-booked, which means that it is the principle "first come, first served" that applies.

The trail runs along the Lögde River and Lake Viskasjön, and passes through spectacular river landscapes with ecologically valuable watercourses and forest lands. The total distance is about one hundred and thirteen kilometers. The Lögdeälv trail connects Nordmaling and Fredrika, and helps to maintain a centuries-old cultural connection between Lögdeälvsdalen and the area around Fredrika. That Fredrika and Lögdeälven are connected is a matter of course for those who delve into the area's natural and cultural history.

In Lögdeälven there is one of Norrland's foremost salmon and sea trout waters and there is a great chance to see beavers and even otters.
