Tjäruskär

Tjäruskär is an archipelago in the sea band off Kråken. The islands are scenic with bathing areas, intense bird life and screaming water.
Ever since the archipelago rose from the sea, the area has been used by seasonal hunters and hunters. Some recent sheds are still there. The fairway that passes Tjäruskärskajen is counted as the inner fairway.

From the early 20th century to the 1960s, Tjäruskär was populated by seasonal workers who worked with timber hauling for various companies such as MoDo, Bowater and Holmen's mills. Tugboats were a common sight around the islands and in the harbor at that time.
