Gråmarna - cobblestone field

The large cobblestone field on the eastern side of Lögdfjället has been named Gråmarna.

7500-8000 years ago, the sea shoreline was here. The waves washed away the loose earth remains while the stones were ground as they rolled towards each other as the area rose from the sea to its current height due to the land uplift. The lowest parts of the field are at about 118 meters above sea level and the highest at 137 meters above sea level. From the "mountain" you have a nice view of, among other things, Nordmalingsfjärden.

There is a barbecue area where you first get out on the cobblestone field.
