Sleep one night or a weekend at Västerbotten's oldest inn!

Levar Hotell is Västerbotten's oldest inn, founded in 1635. On the outside, Levar Hotell is a bit reminiscent of the royal castle, but of course on a much reduced scale. Once upon a time, the builder was also fined for copying the castle.

The castle resemblance otherwise fits well, because here many famous people have spent the night, eaten and emptied their cups and stops over the years - including Charles XI, Carl von Linné and Oscar II.

The current building was erected in 1827 by Jonas Arctaedius. Renovations and extensions were carried out in the 1850s and 1890s. The building became an inn in 1860 and continued the inn tradition that has existed in Levar since 1635. Levar Hotel has been carefully renovated in the old style.
