In troubled times we seek to return to our musical core. We long for music that can provide comfort and security, but which also provides inspiration and power forward. In our new program we have therefore chosen to invest wholeheartedly in music by Johann Sebastian Bach.
We have chosen music where we can rest in the sound and at the same time be challenged to the max. We meet only three musicians in a program that can be played in churches and concert halls as well as in the library or in the nursing home.
The program is based on two of Johann Sebastian Bach's three-part organ sonatas. We also play parts of his two-part inventions and a suite from the well-known Goldberg Variations. In between, some very beautiful stand-alone pieces from cantatas and chorale preludes sound.
