Tallbergsbroarna exhibition

Exhibition about Tallbergsbroarna and the origin of them.

In the village house in central Nyåker there is an exhibition that tells about the Tallberg bridges.

You can immerse yourself in the technical, cultural and historical values they have created, as well as learn about the railway's origin and significance for society Nyåker. Look at photos of travelers on trains and track work, sit on a bench from a train compartment from the turn of the century, study the model of Nyåkersbygden's railway station built by konstnären Anders Åberg (creator of Mannaminne), or take part in literature related to bridge building and Nyåkersbygden.

Adjacent to the exhibition is a café with homemade bread and Nyåker's peppercorns. There is also a text and photo exhibition, with about 30 pictures from Sune Jonsson's book Byn med det blå huset. For the children there is a doll's cupboard and a table set with railway rails, trains, stations, bridges and figures where you can build and play.
