Outside the village of Tallberg, about four km northwest of Nyåker, there are three railway bridges from three different railway eras, built more than 40 meters above the surface of the Öre River.

The oldest bridge, which today is a car road, is from 1891. The other Tallbergsbron was made entirely of reinforced concrete with a huge 90-meter arch and was when completed the world's longest railway bridge in stone material for normal-track railway. The culturally and technically interesting bridge was declared a state building monument in 1993. Under the bridges, at the steep nips, there are barbecue areas, windbreaks and an overnight cabin.

In Byahuset in Nyåker there is one exhibition (visit it!) which tells about the Tallberg bridges and the origin of the railway. See the old steam locomotive and Anders Åberg's fine model of the station building or Sune Jonsson's atmospheric railway pictures. Adjacent to the exhibition is a summer café with homemade bread, gingerbread and ice cream. For the children there is a table set with railway rails, trains, bridges and stations. Free access for play and construction!
