Tjaerdalen Beer & Whiskey

Tjaerdalen is one of Sweden's smallest beverage companies with award-winning bottles of beer, whiskey and gin. We are unique as Sweden's northernmost whiskey maker.

Inspiration comes, among other things, from past tar production, a time when human work resulted in a few barrels of the much coveted product, tar. A way of working, which most of us have now forgotten, where the product was the result of time and perfection. Our goal is to connect to this story and deliver selected drinks that are also small-scale produced and a result of time and perfection.

In the tar valley, the time and care required to produce a good product was valued. With us, good is translated in the many senses of the word; including tasty, authentic and powerful. So by carefully producing and selecting products that live up to the criteria set by Tjaerdalen, we always try to provide an experience. In Olofsfors, we have found fantastic opportunities to take our whiskey production and our taste experiences to new heights.

New for the 2023 summer season is that we hope to be able to receive visitors to our maturation warehouses at the mill and show and tell them about what we do and have going on.
